TOWN OF MIDDLETON – The town of Middleton Friday filed a petition for incorporation as a village seeking to protect its boundaries and tax base for further annexation.

During a July 15 meeting when the Middleton Common Council approved two settlements of damage claims against the city, alders approved a third settlement against advice from their insurance advisor on a split 4-2 vote.
