Jeffrey Curtis “Jeff” Nolden

MIDDLETON–Jeffrey Curtis “Jeff” Nolden, age 54, of Middleton, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2021. He was born on Sept. 3, 1967, in Sauk City, the oldest of four children to Donald L. and Mary (Curtis) Nolden.

Jeffrey graduated from Middleton High School in 1986 and received his bachelor’s degree from the UW-Madison. He worked for Pitney Bowes for his entire career. 

Jeff’s family meant the world to him. He was incredibly proud of his two amazing kids, Jade and Jack. He loved spending time with them and the rest of his family and friends, they knew they could always count on him to lend a helping hand. He was a passionate person about everything he did and often orchestrated shenanigans to add spirit to the event. Class reunions and time spent with long-time friends were very important to Jeff. Jeff was a huge sports fan. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course, riding his motorcycle, auto-racing, playing cards and watching the Packers and Badgers, especially UW Hockey and the New York Rangers. Jeff was an enthusiastic Elvis Presley fan and especially enjoyed surprising people with an unexpected impersonation. Smiles were not scarce when Jeff was in the room; he filled the hearts of his loved ones with so much joy through his laughter and storytelling. Jeff’s memory will be treasured by those he left behind. 

Jeffrey is survived by his daughter, Jade (Tristan) Hudson; son, Jack Nolden; mother, Mary; brother, Lance (Kris) Nolden; two sisters, JoAnna (Jason) Vanderpoel and Alissa (Paul) Haugh; nieces, Erin (Drew) Hammell, Annie Nolden, and Julia, Jocelyn and Jordyn Vanderpoel and many other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death was his father, Donald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 24, 2021, with Father Brian Wilk presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday.
